Peavey Renown 400: Eminence EM-12L or Peavey Black Widow?

After discovering in my previous thread that Eminence is now offering their EM-12L as an Electrovoice EVM-12L competitor at around $150, I'm considering them to put in a 1980's Peavey Renown 400 combo amp (2x12, ~220 watts) for use with guitar and 1974 Fender-Rhodes Mk1 stage piano. On the other hand, Peavey's 12" Black Widows are also $150. I've never played a Black Widow. Would they be a better choice for the Renown 400, or would they pale compared to the EM-12L? I'm interested in opinions to that question, and also general info on the Black Widow. Good? Bad? Do you like them/hate them? Anything to be aware of? I really just have no idea and keep wondering if Peavey's own speaker would be a better match for the 400.

Model them both in WinISD Alpha or the equivalent to compare the low frequency response and maximum SPL, look at the driver data sheet SPL charts to compare response above 200Hz.
