I'd like to try the B&C stuff. How do their drivers compare with Dayton, Peavey or Eminence?

B&C makes really nice stuff. I'm using their 8BG51 and it's a beast.

Opinion: In general, the Italians have been kicking buttocks in the loudspeaker industry (spotlight on Germany's BMS as well) for the last decade-plus. However, as we all know, the challenge is with the cost-VS-performance of imported drivers. If companies like B&C (18 Sound, etc.) were US-based, other US companies might have a hard time competing within their price points. Radian compression drivers might be the exception (again, opinion).
