Kevinr.................funny you said you replaced your BM from your Peavey tube amp, that is where this one came from. I actually have 2 that I replaced from my Dual 212 with Eminence Governors.............love em. I will check out the coaxial and drivers suggested in later posts....

He asked about using his I assume on-hand Peavey driver. He might be able to use it in the Simplex 12 instrument 2-way version, but that depends on the Peavey driver specs.

If you are after a true acoustic guitar sound and clean smooth tone for vocals I personally would use a different speaker . i replaced the BM in my Peavey tube amp pretty quick ,
    the eminence coaxial maybe ?

need ideas for a portable cabinet utilizing a Peavey blue Marvel 12 and other components. This would be used with a 120 watt power mixer for acoustic guitar and vocal mic coffee house gigs. Looking for portability and true acoustic sound for the guitar and clean smooth tone for vocals.
Working...
