Udique MTM and Center Channel

Hi guys, I finished a MTM speaker for the Design Team. http://projectgallery.parts-express....ojects/udique/

There are two crossovers, one for stand mounts and one in near boundary locations, like a center channel.

There are a bunch of details in the PDF and I'll post a few construction pictures here. If you find any errors or something confusing please let me know so I can fix it. Thanks

The front baffle wood is Missouri black walnut I got from my wife's cousin. The center strip is baltic birch plywood. The center channel has a black roller painted cabinet with a black stained baffle. The stand mounts have a roller painted chocolate brown cabinet. The baffle is oil finished with boiled Linseed Oil (BLO). Everything has a sprayed shellac top coat.

For the crossover I spend a lot of time with the BW3. It turned out that the LR4 had smoother on axis response and the same (net) off axis as the BW3. I really wanted to cross these near 1,500 Hz, but one of the effects of recessing the tweeter was creating a plateau that was not elegant to get around. These ended up at 1,800 Hz with 4 parts. The resistor is one right?

The 2 "vertical" images (NOW - w/this new software) show up turned sideways on my screen. Also, how in the heck can I go back to the post (like I used to be able to do) w/out having to push the back button and lose my place? Also, I really miss not being able to click on the PE logo to jump to the PE site (on a new tab) like I USED to be able to do.

Don't want to rune your post John (nice job, BTW), but not too big a fan of this new forum software as of yet. It SEEMS to me like viewership/participation has really dropped off?

No doubt, excellent job. Any reason as to the round over and not a chamfer to the tweeter opening?

I recall the round over gave a smoother response when I was doing the ND20FB in the Dino project. I may need to test again as I did not get the response I wanted.

Beautiful build and workmanship, and a fine choice of mainstream high-value drivers. I always like my RS150 build.

I like the look of the cabinet with the baltic birch ply down the center. And 100 db with 10 watts, should be great for HT.
