Dayton B452 Remake

Finished a little project remaking the Dayton B452 speaker. http://projectgallery.parts-express....s/b452-remake/

This project was a fun from the point you had to one pair of speakers to experiment with then put back together. You can’t really see where I drilled the port hole in the wrong location and the grill covers a bunch of flaws

Attached is the PDF with details. I’ll include a few more pictures here.

This should be a decent project for those with few tools.

A few pics. This project uses the ND28 tweeter and the CF120 woofer.

The terminal cup is close to the port tube. After cleaning up some of the glue the terminal cup fell out, so I rotated the terminal cup 90 degrees and glued it back in.

Has anyone heard this modified version and what are your thoughts on it? I just got a hold of a pair of CF120 woofers and it got me curious.
