Still digging those cedar panels. Do they smell much, or did the finish seal that up?

Thanks, Don! The finish seems to have sealed up the Cedar scent. I don't smell it at all from the front side--even with my nose up close--and the back will soon be glued to the cabinets.

My wife has COPD and says that the cedar smell messes with her breathing, but boy, that cedar looks SO much like rosewood
(at least to me...) . I may try a little project with cedar to "test the waters". Love the red, red/brown and variations on the panels.

Dear Diary, I have been busy! I will elaborate later. Today I will work on the bases and update the crossovers. Maybe run some wires or line the walls with insulation. I'll see how far I get.

Beautiful work Dan! Will the recipients be drawing straws to decide who gets which pair? Not that it would matter, they're all gorgeous. +1 on Don's statement, steaks and beer from the lucky recipients are in order and multiple occasions for that would not be unreasonable at all.
