Those are the GREATEST tower speakers ever (Trump reference ).

I've been thinking about angled cuts on the table saw, and have a definite approach/avoidance issue.
But there is no denying the visual appeal (and sometimes audible benefits) to non-rectangular speaker enclosures.

I will be building two pairs as gifts for some grads. My wife asked me if I could use the design style that hongrn used on his Sonaria cabinets. Don didn't think there would be a noticeable change in the sound by slanting the cabinet (time alignment issues), so these Slant Six Engines, er, Speakers should end up looking something like the CJD Ansonicas that I built for a friend about two years ago. They looked like this:

These towers use the Peerless 830657 6.5" woofers and Vifa BC25SC06-04 tweeters and were designed by donradick. Don provided his design details in this thread right here.

The original design did not tilt back and looked like this. Beautiful! Well done, Don!
