Quick update on this kit.

Enclosures were finalized and should be here any day (coming from a local source) so these should be ready to go VERY soon pending any unseen issues, but I don't see that happening.

Just wondering if PE will be offering a kit without the cabinet on these?
I really liked these when I heard (and saw) them, but I'd like to build my own cabinet for them.

We hadn't planned that but it should be possible.

A quick update on these, the enclosures are still on hold. Our vendor is a little backed up but they are due in next week. Keep your fingers crossed.

Just a random thought, but how cool would a 'Passive Aggressive' L/C/R soundbar be with all those little cones flapping away? 5" high and nice-and-loud!
Add a sub and a pair of the little cabs for the rear and you'd have a dang cool 5.1 system.

You're right. And I'd be fine with that!
I find flapp-a-lappin cones so entertaining for some reason. It's a wonder I don't have a line array in my house yet.

The Quarks are exact dimensional copies of the Denovo flat pack, 1/2" particle board. The PAs are 3/4" mat'l. I also squared off the width and depth, looks better to me with the identical drivers/PRs. Same volume.

Wouldn't putting the passive radiator look far more elegant if mounted to the back instead of the side.

Glad the kit is finally available. This is a really good little speaker that sounds good and is amazing to see in action, cones all a-pumping and what-not.

I think the passive sub kit is a great idea too with all the 2.1 amps PE now has available.
Now you have two choices of passive sub, this and the little square-donut 'Four-Banger' sub.
Hey, did I just come up with a pretty good name for that?

If you are asking me, that is actual measured response, not simulated. Near field is blended to 1m measurement around 500 Hz.

I'm interested in building the PAs and thought these would be a good opportunity to try out the laser cutter at work with some .5" baltic birch. Since the fingers are not quite deep enough, the faces protrude and would require a fair amount of sanding to remove the burnt edges. I like the contrast and may leave them be.
