First of all, Thanks to Paul and Gordy for the OS and Madeleine designs. My Family loves these speakers. These are the 2nd and 3rd I've built. The first 2 have the Sure Electronics AA-AB32155 2x15W amp and they sound awesome. My current builds have the Dayton Audio KAB-230A 2x30W and the Sure Electronics AA-AB32155 2x15W. I had the Sure on hand and bought the Dayton because it had about the same specs and was all on one board with premade cables. I really wanted to love the Dayton but, as of tonight I'm not feeling the love. I have some more testing to do but the dayton's performance is not as good as the Sure. I plan on swapping boards between the 2 boxes to make sure it's not the drivers or crossovers causing the difference. I'll post any findings.

Thanks randyohoh and Gordy.
Jake, your probably right, I switched the amps today and still got better performance from the sure amp. I might order another Sure amp to replace it. I really wanted to like the Dayton just for the plug and play and different options. The Dayton just doesn't do it for me though.
These 2 are both spoken for and I still don't have one for myself but, I think I'm done with the Madeleine's for awhile. The next project is for me, maybe a set of Swopes or similar 5.1 system.

The Sure amp is also being driven by the amplified signal of the BT module. That is what makes the Sure 4.0 BT module and just about any amp perform. All in one is nice but I agree. I just built my second Madeleine withthe KAB 230 setupwithout batteries. To my ears, they sound really good. Never tried the Sure, so can't compare. Now grand daughter feels left out, so I wanted to try an Isetta - another Carmody design. It's almost done, so I'll see how that compares. I gotta say, these table top stereos are a hit with the relatives, just can't keep one for myself...
