Bluetooth WineBox with new PE plate amp and TB W3-881 drivers
Just a quick project using a wine box and the new PE bluetooth plate amp.
Total volume of the enclosure is about 0.13 cubic feet. two ports, each 1" x 3.5" tunes it to about 85 to 90 Hz. Drivers are the Tang Band W3-881 using a simple contour filter consisting of a 0.75 mH inductor and a 4.7 Ohm resistor in parallel on the + speaker leads
I modified the PE plate amp by removing the spring terminals for the second speaker and closing the gap. I will re-use that spring terminal set for a second set of speakers using another identical plate amp -- that way the second speaker will have a terminal that will match the one on the amp.
