Two pairs of completed Christmas presents, one for my daughter and the other for my boss. A friend from Javad's Facebook group helped me come up with the name for them. After sharing a picture with him last week, he described them as looking very Royal and they reminded him of old English interior design. I liked his description and decided to run with it. Am spelling it a little different but he still gets the credit. Here are "The Royale's". Two sets, one in Walnut with a book-matched Walnut Burl insert, the other in Redwood with a book-matched Redwood Burl insert. This was my first attempt at book-matching, not perfect but I'm pretty happy with the results. Cabinets net volume is 9 liters, tuned to 41Hz, F3 45Hz. Drivers are the SB26CDC tweet and SB15CAC woofer, both the 4-ohm versions. I was in a hurry to get these built so you'll have to forgive me for not taking more pics during the build.

Haven't had a chance to take a near-field measurement yet to splice into this measurement. This is no smoothing at .5 meter. The woofer could perhaps benefit from a notch between 600 and 1200hz, but so far, I've not had much luck at incorporating it. Since I was so short on time, I decided to omit it. I did tweak the crossovers a little bit more after this measurement and will post the schematics and new measurements from those this evening when I can access my laptop at home.
