Nice - looking really good. The mix sounds similar to a danish oil. Does it progressively build up a bit of sheen?Constructions: Dayton+SB 2-Way v1 | Dayton+SB 2-Way v2 | Fabios (SB Monitors)
Refurbs: KLH 2 | Rega Ela Mk1

Here's the current HT setup. The S2000 L/Rs are hung off the rail. Originally I had S2000 TMs for L/R. I want the speakers to be lower, not extending above the rail. Thus, low stands with a tiltback angle to properly direct towards the MLP.
It's possible I might construct a new minimalist center speaker/ TV stand using a wall mount bracket grafted onto a single center post. And L/R stands to match.

They look great dj and glad your already pleased with their sound quality! Curious at some point how their sound compares to S2000's ... and ... stands or subwoofer stands?

My aural memory is pathetic. The new speakers seem a bit fuller maybe? I have all 3 done now. I will listen to some epic bluray later today. Even I will not be able to tolerate those crate stands for long.
I will post more pics when I have made some furniture progress. I have one sub in the rear corner.

So, these are 20" x 12" x 7.5". They are braced 1/2" particle board. 1" mdf baffle with a 3/8" roundover.. I moved the woofers apart to give some meat in between the drivers. I used cjd's generic Seas crossover. These are sealed. The 1/2" thick cabs allowed some size reduction at same volume. Same baffle width.
cjd shows 3/4" plywood vented design on his webpage. His woofers were as close together as possible. He used a 3/4" roundover. cjd drew sealed, vented and tower variations. I do not know if he built any but the vented ones on his webpage.
