      Great idea!

So this project went belly up due to poor notch cutting with my large jigsaw. We will rethink and regroup. I have lots of nice pine scraps now.

I never checked for a dado setup for my tiny table saw.

3/4" straight flute router bit with an edge guide or make a jig to position the fence on the table saw taking multiple cross-cuts?

Thanks, but I have moved on. I was already unhappy with the tearout on the holes for the dowels.

So I dragged out the new 3 ways to the living room. I listened to them with a Dynakitparts ST-35 kit clone, an SMSL chip amp, and an HK 80 watt/ channel receiver.

      70s TV for vintage atmosphere.

The little tube amp isn't adequate to drive them very loud.

      The SMSL is OK.

The HK receiver sounds great. That's my recommended source with these. A pair of JR's new small monkey coffins and a plain vanilla amp or receiver will provide aural joy.

        Nice! Getz and Gilberto?
Edit: I can see that it is, now that I'm not on a tiny phone screen.

I was hoping the Dynaco amp and the ersatz A25s would be a good combo. Sounded nice but not much volume. That is a very well recorded album, from 1964.
The best sound was the HK.

      These are awesome looking.
Don't listen to me - I have not sold any $150,000 speakers.

Thank you, and thank you for the great new compact 3 way design, very practical size.
    Working...
