  • My retro project. Nearly done!

My retro speaker project. Utilizing the 6.5" Realistic poly woofer and a 2" Peerless of India cone tweeter! I am naming these the "MMC-100". The letters stand for "Mini Monkey Coffin", and the "100" suffix is meant to imply they are the bottom model in a series. Kind of a neat, retro name.

All particle board construction (naturally) and a vinyl finish (again, naturally). Matte black painted baffles, spring terminals (I couldn't think of a satisfactory screw-based hookup) and coming soon - a tweed-clothed, wood frame grill.

There is also a chance I will be adding an L-pad to it How could I not?
Don't listen to me - I have not sold any $150,000 speakers.

Oh, I also have a 12" OEM paper cone woofer sitting around, I plan on making a matching "subwoofer" for these.

I like your builds and documentation. Your skills seem to get better every time.
