Midranges-Seas MCA15RCY, has anyone actually tried a Accuton

Seems went it comes to midranges I only read a lot of open ended, and sometimes even vague answers? I'm working a project right now with a Peerless 850146 woofer, Seas MCA15RCY mid and Seas 27TDFC tweeter. But one day I would like to try a really wild midrange. And of course wild=$$$ in the speaker biz.

Has any one actually tried a Accuton and is it really worth the $340? The range I would like to use it in is 250Hz-2.2KHz.

Any other suggestions when it comes to mids I should know about?

Yes, this thread describes an all Accuton WMTMW by xavier. He's on the road right now. Definitely a step above most of what I've heard. But the rest of that system is also.

Value wise, that's between you and your wallet.
