Re: My new project (yet to be named)

    Mike,

I will sand them smooth again with 220 grit sand paper. Then touch up the seams with light weight body filler (i.e. Bondo). Then sand smooth, prime, sand, prime, sand (400 grit). After that they are ready for paint. I have never had an adhesion issue with paint. I have never tried to veneer before.

          Wow Wow Wow!!!!!

          First listening impression: WOW!!!!

The enclosures might be a bit over stuffed. The tweeters might be a bit too padded.... but Dream Theater, David Sandborn, Kenny G. (blame my wife), Dada, and Rush sounded.... goose bumpy :D

Re: My new project (yet to be named)

After several days of listening I have determined that they sound good. So I disassembled them Friday night and began the final finishing steps. They are ready for one final light sanding of the primer, then the final color coats.

Nice work! Do you mind sharing your XO list and schematic? What enclosure volume did you settle in on?

Don't listen to me - I have not sold any $150,000 speakers.
