Yes I built these. They are made of cnc routed 30mm mdf layers. Glued and laquered....
Damn. That's some fine cabinet work! But I guess it helps to have a CNC. :D I really like the "ribbed" sides (I assume you did this with a small chamfer on each edge?); even with a CNC, I don't know how you got them so precise.

                  Wow. Just, wow.
Don't listen to me - I have not sold any $150,000 speakers.

Those are beautiful, and I'll bet they weigh a ton as well. It won't be long before Parts Express contacts you to put that design on the cover of their catalog.

I don't care what anyone else says - CNC is DIY if you developed the rest of the design yourself. You just happened to have some more advanced tools at your disposal.

                            Re: RM MkII

Probably not likely that we'll see a detailed publication of the design, superspeeder. I just discovered (via the 6moons.com News Page) that Lindell is a commercial outfit. Though this would be a strange place for the OP to promote his product, since it's pricey enough to not be relevant to most people who visit this forum. Were this any other less-easygoing audio forum, I'm sure the mods would have something to say about a loudspeaker manufacturer promoting their products essentially for free on the forum, when third-party advertising helps to pay the bills. The only connection I can see to Parts Express is that PE carries the Morel drivers used in the Lindell RM MkII. However, I don't personally think this thread belongs in the project gallery forum, since it is a commercial product and not a DIY project.
