Ha,HA,, thought someone might notice that mound o dust.. took these pictures right after i brought them up from the shop,, a little dust hiding somewhere..
Hello evil,, yes did a build thread at HTS.. the sub is CSS trio 12.. it plays low and clean.. I was actually very surprised at what i thought good bass was all these years..was i ever wrong!! Just want another now
the dark wood is Macassar ebony, same stuff they use on guitar frets..
My curent build will be a small computer desktop, I am going to try the alpair6 full range,, never heard a full range that i liked before so i might hate it But Bose has made all that money on little 2 inchers:eek:
here is the wood for the desktop.
I think i will try my hand at building a t amp aswell.......
Looks like the tweeter is a Vifa black-Al D27, and the midbass looks like maybe a Peerless or a buyout, or peerless buyout.
That's all I got!

hey brian, sorry for the delay!! never got your post!
I picked up four of the Vifa D25AG36 from ebay for cheap! they stoped making them black years ago. The woofers i beleve are tannoy, but i am just guessing... I stole, or barrowed the design from a set of energy dipole / bipole surrounds I had, and the woofer too they sound awsome!! the tweeter is bipole and the woofer and tweeter are dipole.
Sorry i never took any build pictures:D
I do have a few pictures of my current Mark audio full range build, i am using a cold press polyurethane for the veneer,, a thick raw wood veneer from ebay.. the polyurethane works great if you use a router to trim the veneer and excess foam from the polyurethane.
