New Horizons: sealed, curved cabinets

Great builds I’d like to see some builds using a 12” or 15” drivers that would be great low mid to lows down to 30hz with a 97 spl and up I have some used JBL horns that I’d like to build some speaker box that looks like those curved boxes posted here. These horns are a 2” cd driver and can be crossed as low as 500hz or 800hz for more power, I don’t need large amounts of power as I’d like to use 6 to 12 watt tube amps for this horn and use a solid state amp for the lower end Thanks and really great speaker and build

Yes, beautiful they are.
Also, what veneer is that? I browsed the original thread but did not readily find that info. I'm guessing Teak? But I know I'm wrong if this whole week is any indicator.

Hey lunchmoney, if you’re still around, these are beautiful. Did you finish with anything other than the thinned tung oil? How have they held up over time? I have a lot of Danish teak furniture in my house so have been considering teak veneer for the Amigas I’m building and I’ve been looking for a nice finish like this.

Eh, just claim they are intentionally "distressed" and it's all good ;)

Still, they are beautiful. I have something in mind for my Iowa project next year. See if I can scrape up the cash for it or not.
