thanks this is going to take awile I don't even have any clamps.I'm sure they will sound great.I'm glad I found this site it's amazing what you can do as a DIYer.My fronts weren't done exactly right the boxes are to small and the x-over isn't as good as it could be but the mids and highs are great.Went to best buy the other day and nothing there could touch the clarity of my speakers. They cost me about $225 each to make, well worth the time and money!

Hi I've been using Titebond III for years with excellent results. Also it is easy to work with it allows a long set up time. That is, I have more time to get my pieces fitted, more time to get all the clamps on etc.
My daughter says her dog knocks the speakers I built for her off the stands to the floor regularly and they still look good and still sound great. So the glue joints are still strong after several years.

Yeah I used Titebond III for the deadhorses, double thick 3/4" MDF all around, never had an issue.

Go to Harbor Frieght or their website and buy yourself some of the $3-5 metal clamps, totally worth it.

That souds like a very good price but the nearest Harbor Frieght is 25 miles from here. All we have is Home Depo and Wallmart.Bar clamps is just about all I need,I'll be ordering the drivers on the first.I cant wait to get started but I'm on S.S.A. so I'm going to be getting what I can afford each month. At one time I had all the right tools but fell on hard times, now I have a skill saw, router, and drill. That will be enough to get the job done.

Will 12watts do for the 20 and 50 ohm resisters?

For the 20 ohm, 12 watts is fine, I used a 10 watt on mine. For the 50, I used 2 of these in parallel: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/psho...number=017-100
