To paint the box I used a sata nr3000 for basecoat and an iwata ls400 for clear. The baffle I used a devilbis grill to spray the poly. Thanks for the complement.

Well I had a listen to my new sub yesterday. At first I was thinking it was a little bit on the lighter side. Not much in terms of spl coming from it. As it started to break in It seemed to pick up a little bit and started blending a little better. Although from the start the sub played smooth and deep. The small mini mains that it is playing with aren't the biggest powerhouse so this sub should do great with them. All in all I think it worked out good. The only thing I might change I the future is going to a larger amp. It seems like the sub wants to give but the bash300 run out of power.has anyone else felt like this about that amp ?

subscribed! I have a 12 inch Ultimax running with an SA230 and it clips and sounds bad when turned up with 230 RMS so think we are in the same boat (not enough watts).

As the sub seems to break in it's getting a bit more pleasant but I still feel like it wants more juice.
