Interesting, I'll check it out. The mains I use have fairly high directivity. Either way, the resonances of the boxes are negligible, spectogram below to 200hz, xover at 80 or 90, don't recall.
Or, better yet, build 2 additional boxes, have them shipped to me. I will free of charge, test them for as long as you want...
So, you're halfway to a DBA setup- You've now got to duplicate them behind the listening spot.
Next time you move things around, consider flipping them so the vents are towards the outside, on the bottom ones. This will spread modal interaction at vent frequencies around and give you a smoother in-room response, while removing that potential diffraction source (the corner of the slot) and having the mains see closer to an "Infinite Baffle".
If you watch Godzilla/Cloverfield, people 6 houses away are going to run in fear thinking they are under attack.
If we all reacted the same way, we'd be predictable, and there's always more than one way to view a situation.
What's true for the group is also true for the individual. It's simple: Overspecialize, and you breed in weakness.
It's slow death.
I'd offer my meathead powerlifting services to assist you with the positioning of your remaining cabs; I'm certain Joey would as well. :D Shame I live so far away.
Absolutely astonishing work and HT system! Cannot imagine what an experience it is.
Absolutely!! Moving it while it is playing sine waves of 12HZ.......

I was just thinking, why not stick one in each corner.
