Bitching to them about how ridiculous that is ends up getting you banned longer. I won't post there anymore. Instead of dealing with trolls they end up causing grief for people who create content and generate millions of page views. Oh well.

Yeah I was wondering why I wasn't seeing a build thread over there. That's too bad. Well you'll like it over here, everyone's friendly. May I ask who the troll is? There are quite a few over there that seemed to go crazy with the keyboards. The worst was Kryptonite (May he R.I.P.) that guys loved this stuff though.

Kryptonitewhite wasn't really a troll, he was just really excited and not the brightest. Was sad to see him go. It was some random guy who made an account and only posted to troll nonsense in the FP14000 thread. There were a few, probably competing vendors. I had a bunch message me.

Anyway, I'll be posting some updates here when I get some more progress with the rest of them. I'm going to spackle/sand this weekend and try to get some lumber ordered. I have 3 gallons of duratex coming. Big enclosures, hopefully it's enough. Shipping was pricey.

Hah, figures. I see mastermaybe running his mouth. I can't recall what it was about, but chances are he was spewing some fud and I called him out on it and he got sore about it. MKTheater thinks I'm not banned. *shrug* All I've ever done was try to share info and help others there. If someone was going to spread false info I'll call it out. If you can't handle someone having a differing opinion on the internet, perhaps you should get some thicker skin instead of crying about me and spreading rumors in a forum where I can't even reply. I'm all for having a good discussion or argument and learning something new in the process.


I reported a troll who's account was created only to post and troll in the LG clone thread. Instead of, you know, handling that, I was locked out of my own thread.








The reason for the permban is I created another account to reply to PM's people were sending me asking for help and advice on non related topics. I know, I'm such an "electronic goon". Unfortunately, there are a bunch in my inbox now I can't reply to, though I still get the messages. If anyone on AVS wants to tell pabueno7 and rmlowz that I'll respond to PM's here or on data-bass it would be appreciated.

Anyway, for some content to balance all this nonsense.

Here's a vid I need to find a good way to share, it's FLV, so you'll need something that can play that. I may just re-encode to 30fps and deal with youtube :( I recorded at 120fps and slowed it down while I was pushing the sub at 10hz. Pretty neat. VId shows cone movement and port air velocity at and around tuning freq down to 10hz.

The garage door at some frequencies.. between 14-18hz the ceiling is flexing so bad it's making the boxes for my fluorescent lights flap around as well as everything on the walls go crazy. The audio from the gopro didn't quite do it justice.

Once done I'll see about getting unbanned and maybe post all the info. While I don't agree with how the mods there handled things, the community didn't do anything to miss out on the fun.

The build will be chronicled here and on data-bass. I'm going to time lapse the build of the other cabs. That should be interesting. I'll have to cut out the frames where I get distracted and sit at the computer for too long.
