Steven, try them on your not so good vinyl. I think you'll enjoy them for that. CCR sounds REAL good (either LP or CD) on the Classix II's. Those weren't the greatest studio takes ever. Marshal Tucker, The Amazing Rhythm Aces, and such rock-out on the Classix II's. In my little living room, I get enough room gain, a sub is really optional.
