  • Mark Audio Alpair 7.3 Bass Reflex

Hello, just sharing my most recent project. I used a pair of full range Mark Audio Alpair 7.3 drivers in PE 0.25cf enclosures. The boxes are tuned to roughly 55hz using a PE adjustable port. I lined the insides with 3/8" felt from the the hardware store so they are pretty dead inside.

I want to give thanks to Melby Audio for doing a great job on cutting my baffles for me. Would definitely use them again if possible.

The drivers are still breaking in so I don't have much in the way of impressions as I am playing them at low volumes with little bass. The manufacturer recommends to do this for 100 hours and I am a third of the way there. I will follow up once I can crank them. So far they sound good though; laid back for sure.

Nice, those turned out great! You may want to toe them in a little bit depending where you are sitting in the room.

Very nice. I recently built a pair of MA CHR-70 speakers for work. I found that they seemed to continue to smooth out, even after the 100-hour minimum break in.

I'm kind of thinking about buying these, but I'm not sure.
Will they help me get chicks?

          Yes, I believe they will.

If I've heard it once, I've heard it a million times - "I am looking to have a meaningful relationship with someone who has a pair of Mark Audion Alpair 7.3s".

It is a sure thing. Don't mess it up.

Size doesn't matter, it's how you use the driver.
