Wow, great catch. Thank you! I am so glad you caught that before I put them in the cabinets. I got the cabinets mocked up today for the first time. I think the oak looks great with the warm white paint. I am up cycling some old desk legs for the stands that will also be white and oak. Hopefully, I will be able to do final assembly on the cabinets this week. The stands probably won’t get done before Thanksgiving though. I am really looking forward to listening to these! Roxul installed. What does the poly batting do over and above the Roxul? I have poly stuffing on hand, could I use that instead? Thanks again for the great design package and all of your help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Roxul stuff I had was dirty and hard to hold in place. I used the poly "batting" to hold the Roxul in place. That looks like plenty of insulation.

I used 1 inch Roxul AFB from ATS Acoustics for the insulation.

Per the original design, I installed 1 inch on the sides, top and bottom, and doubled it up on the back. I cut the Roxul about 1/4 inch oversized for each panel and squeezed it into place, starting with the sides followed by the top, bottom and back. I used the port tube like a cookie cutter to cut the circular holes in the back panels. With all of the panels installed, I shook the cabinet a few different directions to see if the insulation panels would dislodge. They all seem pretty secure.

Next step is to cut and install the 2" P/E adjustable port to 9cm, then glue down the baffles, screw in the drivers, and the speakers should be done!

Well, ready for basic testing anyway. Do the battery test to make sure the woofers move the same direction. Do low volume listening with your ear next to each driver to make sure they sound the same.

I finished my Seriatims! I am already happy with the sound, but will give listening impressions after they have had a month or two to break in. My wife challenged me to match the look of the room and I think I pulled it off pretty well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks, everyone. This was my 3rd build and definitely the most challenging. I really enjoyed the creative aspect of reusing the desk legs and still have another side of the desk to work with, so they will likely be integrated into a future build. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
