Yep the UM12 as a woofer! We used the PE knockdown 2 cube sealed cabinets and modified them to accept a CSS APR15. Tuning is right about 27hz. The mid/tweeter cabinet is about a half cube, sealed and lined with mattress topper and a couple of handfuls of bamboo/poly fill. They house an Eclipse W6520R midbass and Dayton RS28F tweeter. Crossover is obviously outboard. We are working on an enclosure for it now that it is finalized. The crossover board is big at 12x24. I did this for a couple of reasons. One was to give those resistors room to breathe. Second, we are going to stand them on end so that the mid/tweet connecetions are at the top and the woofer and input terminals are at the bottom. Oak fronts and duratex on the rest.
Crossover points came in right about 300 and 1.8khz. Second order filters all around. There are a lot of resistors on there and for good reason. One being that I designed it so that the owner could adjust the mid/tweet level to his preference and second for additional power handling. There is a dip down into the 3ohm range on the lower end, but with the amp Mike is using it isn't a problem. The rest of the range is closer to about 6ohms overall. We went with air core due to the risk of power saturation. I know its not very common, but Mike has about 1200-1400w/ch available and is known for using just about every drop of it.
Speaking of amps, he is using a Crown Macro Reference for power. The rest of the gear is Emotiva CD, DAC, and Preamp. The room is about 20x20. The cabinets are about 3ft from the backwall. Mike has is HT system on the wall to the right. This system replaces a pair of Modula MTs and a Lab15 for the sub. Those are now designated to HT duty.
The imaging is very good, solid soundstage. The driver integration seems to be very solid. Female vocals are clear and crisp. One of my favorite discs to use is the IowaDIY demo from 2013. They not only handled everything very well, but really did that demo justice
Now they need a name. Mike is my closest friend and has walked with me through some very difficult times. This is a guy that will do anything to help someone out. He and his wife adopted a young sibling group (they are now 6 and 5) even though he recently turned 61. It was a pleasure and honor to work on these with Mike. He knew what he wanted and what he was looking for going in. This has been a project we have been working on little by little for about 2 years now. So if anyone has an idea for a name, let me know. I'm open and willing to entertain about anything.

Edit: A name has been chosen. The Trinity. 3 in 1, chosen by the owner. Thanks all for the suggestions. I shall keep them in mind for future builds. All excellent.
