Both cabinets done and rough sanded to 150 grit. Next step to to shape the front baffles in the next day or so. Both baffles have already been glued up with the MLV sandwich.

    Selah Audio Anniversario

Building the Anniversario kit from Selah audio! First DIY build and a long time member so thought Id share the progress here. I took quite a bit of liberty with the box design but kept the baffle in dimension per the specs listed for this design.

Its going to be a Translam Baltic birch build. Laminated top/bottom/front with Highly figured Bubinga veneer!

Every wall is ~1.75" Thick. 1/4" routed through the center of all side/back walls filled and compacted with clean sand. Internal bracing every 3". Top, bottom, and baffle piece all have a sandwich using 1/8" Mass Loaded Vinyl.

Each piece was rough cut to shape, then routed inside and outside with a template router bit. Heres a couple pics of the pieces routed and stacked.

Next each piece had the sand channel cut out with a jig saw. Here you can see them glued up a few pieces at a time. This picture is after a few hours of clamping.

Stacked, Sand filled, and crossover strapped to the bracing. Sand filled with compaction and vibration.
