  • My version of the Heliums designed by scottsehlin

I have been listening to my version of the Heliums for a couple of weeks now. I added a little something to the base to angle them up towards my listening area. I went with simple black paint on 1/2 inch plywood. I may rebuild the boxes later with some MDF and veneer. I was experimenting with the angle and sound at a very low volume in my work environment. They sound great. I am using a Kinter MA-600 to drive them.

Here is a picture of them on my work bench.

And one showing the angle I used to point them in my listening position.

Thanks to Scott and all those that post their designs on this forum so non-designers like myself can build them.

Pretty nice. We had Scott's rockin at Iowa.

ps, would be nice if you turned you pics before posting.

Nice job - I like the look and you found a good way to get the crossover mounted. :D
