  • Need help in designing boombox and battery selection.

I am planning to make a boom box out of my [URL="http://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B00G93E7BK?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailp age_o01_s00"]phillips speaker MMS4040F which has 4000w pmpo .

It's input power supply is 230v/50Hz. output power supply is 11v*2/2.0A.

I am planning to use Exide 12V 7AH EP7 PowerSafe Battery this 12v battery with 7A output.

Amplifier installed is c282u-amp. Please help me whether my selection is right or wrong. How should I connect it with my amp as there is already a transformer connected to my speaker amp. Main power wattage according to user manual is 45W, voltage is 230V AC, frequency is 50Hz. And what charger should I use? And how should I connect it with the amp?

    Thanks a lot in advance!!

I'm not familiar with building boom boxes, but this this is probably not the right forum section for this question. The Tech Talk section of this forum would be a better choice.

By the way, product information on Philips' website indicates the unit has ~40W RMS, so the 4000W statement on amazon is a typo.
