I just got my pair of 0.75 cu.ft. Maple. Was glad to see them considerably cheaper then the others.

That being said, these enclosures have gotten very pricey over the years.....like the double the price they were when they came out right? I'll have to see if I can find a catalogue from 10 years ago or so.

I see the replacement baffles are not discontinued. Will these be available for a while?

I remember when the black 1cf sold for $100 as a DOTD. Replacement .75 cf TM baffles are discontinued. And of course, that's the cabinet that currently fits my needs the best.

The baffles aren't marked as a discontinued item. Are they sourced differently from the cabinet manufacturer?

I wasn't crazy. This is from Catalog #25 10 years ago in 2006.

                  Great news!

Any news about when they are available again?

I would also love to have something in the 18 liter range with a height of 15,5-16" instead of 14" for large sized 2-way with a mid-woofer size of about 6,5-7". It would also be nice with a small floor-stand of about 32 liters to use in a 2-way or 2,5-way with a height of about 35-39" without feet.

                  Regards

                  /Göran

The knock-down floor-standing cabinet fits your requirements. Most of the finished floor-standing units that I've seen sold in the past get really cost prohibitive, and as far as selling from a distributor, they tend to stay and not move inventory.

If I can make a request (which I am fairly certain I can't), I would love a walnut veneer option, or something darker than maple with some interesting grain patterns (rosewood?). Anyway, glad to hear these are not going away forever.

The Madisound floorstander with configurable bracing and a subenclosure for the mid was a good idea but the internal volume wasn't quite large enough.

The maple veneer models will be discontinued. Walnut is back in style again and I've already spoke with PE about adding it.

Unfortunately it makes no sense to ship knock down cabs to Europe, but I like the concept of ready built cabs with a nice black piano finish. I wish there also were white and walnut finishes available. Especially white cabs are very popular in Scandinavian countries.
