      I used the pink foam board to ship the Silverbacks to Kerry. Lined the box with a 1" thick wall of it all the way around. It worked well and they arrived with no damage which is saying something when you consider how rough UPS or FedEx can be on boxes, especially heavy ones.

        And they definintely are super heavy. I think almost 40 pounds each IIRC.

              Sorry to revive a dead horse here (well this thread has been dead for a few years but hopefully the speakers are alive and kickin.) I was going to pm you a few questions but I figured people would maybe find this info useful, but I have a few questions for ya about these amazing speakers you made.

              First question is what was the purpose you made these for? Stereo music, movie theater etc, and are you currently still running them?
