Okay great, I'll adjust my numbers accordingly and try again :-)

Air-cores do not add any emphasis to the bass range, whereas laminates can add a bit of 'slam' in the bass. This is from practical experience using 14AWG airs and 18AWG lams to keep the DCR consistent. I was really surprised at the difference audibly, but most people would not mind the change.

So there is a definite audible difference. I do like a good punch in the bass and probably wouldn't mind the extra 'slam'. From a crossover perspective the only difference would be a lower DCR of the laminates then.

Depending on the gauge of the air-core juxtaposed to it.

Yeah the -.032 I used was a guess based on what little detail and information was provided on the manufacturer spec drawing. Good to know that it is usually between .020 and .025. Thanks guys.

I think the general rule about them is that it depends on your budget also. Iron core is cheaper than air core, so I think most people choose iron core for the larger inductors usually found on woofers and air core for the smaller inductors.

Well, it's been over a week and finally had some time to spend on the computer. I'm fairly happy with the response curve and the phase is somewhat lined up. The one thing I learned is that the resistors seem to have the biggest impact on the phase. The only thing that "bothers" me a little is the amount of resistors used. Can I improve on that? I'd be like to see some of the XO's you all came up with.
                Thanks everyone.

Many of my x-overs use more than you did. I don't worry about it since they are cheap.

That bump at 4k might get a little harsh. Maybe reduce the cap values a tad to reduce the magnitude.

Is there a general rule like 2-3 db plus our minus from the target db level?

Is this x-over just for practice, or do you plan to build the speakers?

Eventually I want to build them. I have a set OS's and a OS MTM as center to build first. But within the next few months I'd like for this design to become a reality

If you can design your own, and it appears that you can, why would you build the OS designs?

I build a pair of OS MTM's already (my first DIY speaker build) as left and right channel for my TV and want to make a complete surround HT set with the TM's as surrounds and an other MTM as center.
This design started in the spur of a moment, as I was wondering what would be involved to create my own. These will serve as my everyday speakers for listening to music.
