Since I purchase a significant amount of the PE cabinets for my business I've been keeping up with the information. Last I heard is that the cabinets are expected to arrive in early November. If I understood correctly most of the curved cabinets will remain in production, including the 14L mentioned here. The standard rectangular cabinets are being discontinued as well as the maple finish.

      Thanks for the info!

If you hear any news about the new cabinets, please let me know.

Interesting business decision considering that the market generally seems to be moving towards more rectilinear cabinets. Also I don't think the spine of the curved ones is wide enough for a plate amp, so actives will require a separate box.

I have not found any credible research showing that most of the differences we hear among loudspeakers cannot be explained by examining these two variables." -Alvin Foster, 22 BAS Speaker 2 (May, 1999)
