Thanks guys. They look pretty good until you get up close, but I'm actually okay with that at this point. Up in the living room with natural light they look lots better than under the fluorescent lights in the basement. Still waiting to see if my crossover bits will get here today or not. Then I can button up the Xovers and give them both a test listen.
I think it's the Bubinga that makes them look good. I'll have to do some test finishing procedures before I mess with that stuff again for sure. I'd love to not have to use brush-on poly again. Maybe some BLO next time, see what that does to fill the grain.
Anyway, they're almost finished up. I was at it at 4 this morning 'crossovering' and printing out my 'Tent Sale List' of things to buy.
