    Do anyone have any online sources where one can find FRD & ZMA files for various drivers? I only know of the few I find on Parts Express.

        I wouldn't call 190 drivers "a few", exactly.

        Before Darren left, I asked him to box up all the CLIO files he had into one zipped file.

            I'm interested in files for the Peerless 850122. Happen to know which those might be? W/o an old PE catalogue to cross-reference part numbers the files are useless.

              Why that would be # 297-632, of course!

              (This index can also be found searching for "Darren" and "frd", back last fall.)

              PS. Each z.txt file typically has a header with the driver description as well, and the measured T/S parms at the end.

                The files on the RJB audio are not in the 3 column format for FRD and ZMA files. Is there a way to convert?

                    Sweet midwoofer. I used the 4 Ohm version to build the Stentorian's, which my brother currently has in his basement media room.

                    They are very nice as mids, and in the MTM format, had good response to 50Hz or so. Their response is very smooth, and of course, they're real easy to work with, as are most Peerless woofers.

                          .zma is easy to DIY. If you have a PC and a couple resistors, you can just do it. .frd is a bigger problem because calibrating the level is undetermined if you are using some one else's files. OEM files are closer to advertising than engineering data. Good for driver selection, not for design. Acoustic responses in a chamber on a 10 foot baffle is not that much use anyway. So DIY. No mic? Well, does that mean you actually believe a simulation is correct? It gets you started. You still need to MEASURE in place. So a Behringer 8000 calibrated mic ( or the PE one) and Focusrite preamp is just about required. ( Or if really DIY, a Panasonic capsule mic can be built for just a few bucks and are actually pretty close.) Note: I see warnings from several places the USB mics may have time/phase delays making them not suitable for design work. No experience myself.
