    I set up a temporary background to snap a few "completed speaker" photos. One small flash with a diffuser, behind the speakers, functions as a background/rim light. Two additional small flashes with diffusers, in front and at roughly 45 degree angles, function as the main & shadow fill lights.

    Thanks everyone, for all the nice comments. I counted the votes thus far as follows:

    5.5 votes #1 Walnut

    I split Javad's vote in half across 1 & 5.
