That Peerless XT25 linked by dcibel fits perfect on the SEOS-8. I knew it would when the waveguide was designed, but couldn't seem to get my hands on one without the face plate for easy mounting. PE just started carrying them, so I was able to glue one together in a couple minutes. There are a few other models/brands that also work, I just got side tracked with different projects and didn't get around to testing them all.

Looking at the depressed portion of the flange around the tweeter, it might just fit the opening of the SEOS-8. It's very important to have a smooth transition from the faceplate to the guide or you're likely to see some serious response issues up high.R = h/(2*pi*m*c) and don't you forget it! || Periodic Table as redrawn by Marshall Freerks and Ignatius Schumacher || King Crimson Radio

IME with domes and waveguides, ring radiators almost always give excellent results. The XT25 and the SB29 are both excellent. I just finished testing the XT25BG60 and the video will be up soon with the data in my drop box for people to use. Possibly I should try and adapt a seos 10 or 8 to it and post that data too. Do you need to remove the faceplate on the rs28a on the seos waveguide? My Build Thread's

Sorry to go off topic Pete. The tweeter doesnt need a guide it just allows the rs28a to cross at 1k to a 8" or 10" woofer. I ordered 2 rs270P-4 to use in a 2-way approx 1cf cabs. Hopefully they mesh together well.My Build Thread's

With the guide, the transfer function for the tweeter is down 15dB further at 1.1KHz than a tweeter without the guide. That means much lower distortion, as well as having a polar response that more closely matches the woofer so that response stays smooth as you move off axis. With this pro style woofer, you can send a boatload of power to the system and have very low thermal compression.

The second cabinet and assorted parts arrived today. Can't wait to get the second set up and running to begin the evaluation with the stereo pair. Parts for crossover tweaks are here too.
