I was modeling up a future speaker idea, the girlfriend said it looks like a grain elevator. Well, she's not wrong...Or maybe it's just that grain elevators look like speakers...What do you think?

I'm just delighted to learn there is a town named Elbow, Saskatchewan. Only about 68 miles as the crow flies from Moose Jaw.
I worked in a grain elevator during harvest one year, in the next town over from Holstein, Nebraska, where I lived. There was a sign in the post office lobby reminding patrons to turn the light off when they left. Boy, was that some dusty, dirty work during harvest. Hours were long and the pay was low, but the beer was cold and the food was cheap.

I honestly don't think they look bad, kinda reminiscent of Eggelstons."The ability of any system to produce exceptional sound will be limited mainly by the capability of the speakers" Jim Salk
"Audio is surely a journey full of revelations as you go" JasonP

Thanks, I don't think they look bad either, just entertaining some ideas. I'm trying to go for something a bit more exciting than just a square cabinet, but not too complicated to construct. I actually think it might be neat to finish them like an old grain elevator. Maybe finish the sides with some white washed floor boards or something like that.I'm not deaf, I'm just not listening!

With that color scheme, it looks like a robot nun to me.Isn't it about time we started answering rhetorical questions?
