Thanks for that video, Bryan! Excellent job on adding presenter and project names. Next best thing to being there.

My build is the opposite of Chucks, needs to be stand mounted away from the wall. Otherwise id have to call them the headache makers lol.

Ben, one thing I forgot to mention about the "Jessie Girls", I intentionally did not use full bsc as they will be on a dresser and very close to the rear wall. When i took measurements, I actually replicated the best i could their intended location. A small section of "wall", about 5ft wide was placed behind them and the speaker sat on a shelf about 6 in from the wall.

Any 3ways i bring to a diy always receive some sort of damage so i wont be bringing any unless they are monitor sized!

Thanks for the input fellas ill mount the crossovers properly and veneer/finish them up. I'm calling it "10-4" which happened to be the day i came up with this crossover. Sb26stac-4 and w4-1720. Its not designed flat but i wanted some bass and good dynamics out of a small build (the goal of the build).

I like Wolfs voicing. His speakers always sound clean.

I liked the ld22 tweeters from css and the 5" satori duo particularly tickled my fancy.

Jasons builds low end was good especially for a woofer he said wasnt cooperative. I gotta do some metal or stone type finish one of these days.

Craigks highend 2 way. The revelators always impress me. I dont recall the tweeter brand or model but i did like it.

Matt sobies mtm ive heard quite a few times now and its a high quality high value design.

The rs28a in the waveguide still intrigues me i have to try a waveguide build. I picked up an xt25 so ill see if i can measure it with the denovo dome waveguide from diysg and see what happens.

Sorry if i leave anyone out my listening was limited because i was running around trying to sell amps.

Wanted to catch up with more people but ran out of time.

Thanks for the input and the pics Ben!! Was good to see you, been a while. Hopefully things settle down and I can make it to Indie this year . And thanks for reminding me about Jason's T/M, that was a great sounding speaker too.

Matt- Interesting! No- there weren't any floor-standers. That's kind of odd...

Craig- I only recall seeing my Hybrid Vigor as a widebander + woofer design. Was there another I missed? Glad you liked it!

Seth- me too! That little 0.25ft^3 design was dynamite! I didn't like the other one as much.

    Some opinions...
I questioned Craig's voicing on his 9800/W18 design, but then he said he normally biamps them. Since I thought they were a bit treble-hot, that likely would easily resolve the issue altogether.

Mike's little 2-ways sounded quite good!

I felt as Chuck did on the Swan-kit. Just a maybe a bit hot on the mid and tweeter, but a minor blemish compared to most mass-market big-box crap.

I still like the 'Midnight Magic' from Chuck, but the little 'Jessie-Girls' I don't know that I cared much for, and I couldn't put my finger on what sounded off to me.

Seth's project was good, but he and I agreed that there was a strange quality in the midrange. Neither one of us knew whether that was cabinet or driver induced. Elsewise those sounded great!

JasonP- I still love your different finish mantra. And they were SMOOTH and easy. I liked their sound a lot.

Nick's 'Peanuts' sound and look the part for sure, and are very well implemented.

Matt's Reclamations are still pretty to look at.

Thanks to our hosts, and others that made this event a success!

I had fun, was great seeing everyone. I thought Craig's Scan speakers were amazing, couldn't believe the bass from a sealed cabinet. I'd like to hear the 18w in a ported cabinet just to hear it, not saying it would be better though. I really enjoyed Mike220 's little TM as well, very well balanced and great bass from such a small speaker IMO. I also still love the CSS LD22 tweeter, really glad that isn't going away. Lots of other great builds as well!! No floor standers this year though...?
