    KAB-BE 18650 Battery Extension Board connections

    My Dayton Audio KAB-230 2x30W Class D Audio Amplifier arrived with all its parts.
    Looking at the "KAB-BE 18650 Battery Extension Board" noticed that it has 3 connections but with no info. What are they for?
    Tried the net, but nothing. Did come across A pdf " https://www.wagneronline.com.au/atta...ton/KAB-BE.pdf "
    with a optional component for external charging power pack connection. Do I need it or the Amp connections distribute the power?

    I am wondering if one of the three JST-PH 4-pin connections could be used to attach to an amplifier. This way the head connection would not have to be switched out. I have been meaning to test one of mine but have not had the chance.

      Dayton Audio KAB-BE 18650 Battery Extension Board for Bluetooth Amplifier Boards The Dayton Audio KAB-BE Li-Ion battery charging board holds three 18650 batteries (sold separately). This charging board has built in under/over voltage protection circuits for safe charging and battery longevity. It balances different voltages between batteries in case one battery discharges faster than the other ones. A 19 VDC, 1-5A power adapter works best for charging batteries contained in this board. Additional boards can be sequenced together to provide longer playing time.Please note: When removing batteries from the KAB-BE, the charging adapter must be plugged in momentarily after the new batteries have been inserted.       Looking at the PCB, the 3 connections on the battery extension board are all labelled "VBATT+" and "VBATT-", and are all connected together on the PCB. They are just 3 connections to the battery so you can hook up 3 things. From the looks of the connector, you could potentially connect three of your amp modules to a single battery pack.

        One of the connectors on the battery board is to allow daisy chaining of another battery board for extra battery life.

        The marketing sheets on the system advertise extremely low drain in standby mode. Perhaps your system is not in standby mode thus power the amp with a null signal. And the amp does draw power when it's on even with no signal.
