I have to agree with you, Tom. The DN-10's were great. I've spent a lot of time with ND-105's over the years and have never heard them sound better.

If you could only own one set, which speakers are your "keepers"?

I'll need to get a girlfriend first!
As for my keepers, they'll be my french polished wenge Quarks.
I always feel that the first anything that one makes (guitar, speakers, etc) are keepers...if nothing else, to stay humble.
Not to sound arrogant, but I'm sure that it'll be hard to beat those for high WAF--small, not too blingy, matches most interior decor---wait, I might need to give up my man card. :P
Anyways, it's interesting to see what others like as their "keepers."

Scott which of yours would you keep over the others?
That's a tough choice. There is a bit of a chronology...
I used to have Ellis 1801's I used as a reference. The Shrubbery project made me think I really didn't need them any more. I did a number of smaller projects after that. The Indium 7's were the most "complete" speaker I have produced - but the new revision of the Matrix (with ND140's replacing the RS150T's) would be my current choice. They will be coming to Iowa this year.

tomzarbo and scottsehlin ... I have a pair of ND-140 woofers and I'd like to build a TM for my HT system with them (L,C,R, and rears). My goal is to try to keep these fairly small, I'd like them to replace my JBL TM speakers but end up in smaller cabinets. I originally was going to use the Aura NS-3, but it seems the black cones are going the way of the dodo, plus I think I'll cross to a sub in a HT system easier with the ND-140.
That said, knowing these will play with a sub, do you think I could get (roughly) 80-100 Hz out of these in a smaller sealed box? I'd like to make these as small as possible. And, how high can this woofer play? Is 3.5-4khz a realistic possibility?

You will get plenty of bass out of the ND140's sealed in 7-10 liters (f3 around 60). When I heard them in cjd's project (see link below), the bass was competitive with most speakers that size even sealed. The ND140 seems to want to cross around 2.5 kHz (or lower). A broad peak starts above 4 kHz, so 3.5 kHz would be a tough ask.
