If you could only own one set, which speakers are your "keepers"?

I'll play. Unquestionably, the Bordeaux are the best sound I've had in my house, closely followed by the Statements II with the Anthology's and Finalists not far behind. The Bordeaux have taken the mids and top end to another level for me.

You will get plenty of bass out of the ND140's sealed in 7-10 liters (f3 around 60). When I heard them in cjd's project (see link below), the bass was competitive with most speakers that size even sealed. The ND140 seems to want to cross around 2.5 kHz (or lower). A broad peak starts above 4 kHz, so 3.5 kHz would be a tough ask.

Matt do you already have tweeters to mate with the ND-140

I was originally going to use a NS3 woofer and build a really small speaker using a Beston ribbon crossed at around 3.5k, so I had my mind set on 3.5k hoping to still use that. But, since the NS3 seem to be going NLA (maybe?) I switched it up and I'm using the ND-140 instead and Scott said not much north of 2.5k, which eliminates the Beston ribbon as an option. So plan C... I have a pair of XT25TG30 tweeters waiting for a cabinet that I'll try. I've always loved the good ole XT25 anyhow

No worries - the NS3 is nearly identical to the Dayton ND90.

Right now I have two pairs of speakers in my living room I alternately listen to, the canTiLenas from 2007 and the Briosos from 2017. Both are very good with small pros and cons in comparison. The Briosos are more revealing, primarily due to the ceramic TL tweeters, I think, but the canTiLenas have larger woofers, although those in the Briosos do very well, and are more forgiving when playing music from CDs that have less than stellar recording quality. It's really difficult to say I'd absolutely keep one over the other, but just because it turned out so well 10 years ago, the canTiLenas are still my favorite, even if only a little bit, and my reference.

You got it. Veneered panels with hardwood trim, feet and stand offs between cabinets. There's a build thread in my sig. They placed second in the open unlimited category at the 2016 MWAF contest.
