can you give more details about how you mounted the tweeter in the mids?
I can take them apart this weekend, and snap a couple pics.

I really like that Nick is using the W69 TB woofer, as I've not heard that one yet. I had/have(?) a flat lo-pro W69, and really as underwhelmed. The other seems like a better driver. For those that heard it- we know how good his coaxes sounded in the tapered fiberglass pods he had at MWAF a couple years ago.

This is going to be fun!

I've got 3 tweeters. Carving on one of the Daytons at the moment. Didn't you hear the W69 in Meredith's TV speaker at MWAF 2012?

Nick I'm most interested in how you plan to mount/ finish the W69

The tweeter takes a threaded screw and there is a vent hole.........bingo!

Man does not live by measurements alone, a little music helps.

I probably did and didn't know it was that woofer if that is the case.

John, I wasn't going to do anything special with the w69's, just flush mounted with an oval grill that is removable.

Not to sidetrack Nick but what happened with the "Stuart and Carls"? I was really looking forward to seeing those come together. Run into something that shut em down or is it just taking back seat for now?

Kevin I need to post some more photos of the progress of the stuart and carls, they aren't complete, but I did get one assembled for testing minus the arms. I'm on a job that went to six and seven days a week, so I got stuck working overtime, and that in turn really limited progress on everything.

These are what I made to go into the vent at the rear of the driver in order to keep the tweeter centered.

Cool design. Wish I had the skill to machine custom parts like this. Good luck with the project.

Look forward to hearing these next year.

I've made a little more progress. This is the top and mid section.

This is the bottom section that will contain the w69, all the sections are fitted with 10-24 threaded inserts for easy disassembly. Separate pieces will make my life easier when it's paint time.

What’s the woffer? I breezed through the first page of this and didn’t see it. What am I missing?
