have you ever listened to these ? or can you tell how a speaker sounds just by looking at the crossover and charts. if so you are the first human being to be able to do so. this speaker actually sounds pretty good.

I personally think the Sopranos design pushes that tweeter a little low. Although the designer has plenty of great
    designs to choose from.

I agree with Ed. I used this tweeter in my Jonquils project and loved it!

Hiow about the Neo CD 1.0 now on sale for $44. Great value at that price.

Thanks folks. I mean ceramic on my post and not Magnesium.

When did SB start making magnesium drivers? What is the model #? All the SB tweeters I have tried where great!

With a 5” your options seem pretty open, but how about the SB ring radiator? About the same price as the H1212 and can cross low like it too.

How about the one of the medium sized Dayton AMT units?

Unless you are looking specially for a metal tweeter?

  • A good tweeter to match 5" SB Acoustics Magnesium Woofers

I bough myself a pair of 5 " SB Acoustics magnesium woofers for Christmas. What would be a good tweeter that is less than $100 to match these woofers? The RS-28A would probably have been my first choice but is NLA. The Seas H1212 would probably work but the grid is ugly to match these nice looking woofers. I will probably cross these woofers at 80 hz to a sub, so they will be sealed.
Working...
