PHEW !!! got that issue sussed for now . not sure if it is with my laptop or receiver but i changed HDMI inputs and all seems to be working now ...
this ribbon amazes me , was super hot yet still sounded pretty good . this is after a resistor change on the tweet . went from 1 to 2.2 ... going to 3.3 next ....

i think it was just the change . it got forward quick ...
the latest change . 5ohm on tweet , 1.8ohm on the mid
this sounds really good .

On the mid, I would add the resistor after the x-over. I suspect that after the x-over will work better on the tweeter too. Sometimes a resistor in parallel with a driver is a good thing too, since it tends to level the impedance.

I'm looking at your measurement in post 47 compared to post 50. I don't see much difference. There may be good reason for that though. Three ways take some trial and error, and your ears tell you as much as the measurements sometimes.
I'd love to play along.
