OT Football

OK, thank god politics have been totally void on the forum for awhile but no football? Some crazy games last week and some interesting games coming up. I am
rooting for the Vikings while I live in Eagles territory. And I'm rooting against New England because, well just cause I hate them. If the patriots get into the Super
Bowl I will watch womens golf or womens volleyball or maybe a good womens Curling match. Sexist no, I just admire female athletes. Go Vikes, Go Jags!

we had went to a Nascar race once ,someone had written on their back window with shoe polish " anyone but Gordon !" .Gordon was to Nascar like Brady is to football . Patriots will win the Super Bowl . thats not my choice or preference , they are not my team ,Brady acts like a spoiled brat,i could say a few more things but i think you get my point . on Sundays you could not get me away from the TV , now that politics has been brought to the games , i can take it or leave it . football will never be the same .

I have no problem with the Patriots players, but I despise their jerk of a coach, so I always root against the team and I have zero interest in watching them play.

My opinion and dislike of Despicable Bill began after he became the Browns' coach and has nothing to do with his coaching achievements.

As much as I rooted for other teams in the play-offs, the smart money is on the Eagles and Patriots with the Pats by 3 1/2. The Pats are a football MACHINE on offense and defense. I mostly agree with the comments on the Pansy Politically Correct League, and the "officiating" is a bad joke, but I do enjoy football, so I'll admit to watching or listening to most games.

FWIW, the offensive coaching squad of the Pats have done for Brady what no team did for Farve in his later years; that is to NOT expect him to run and execute the plays like he's 25 anymore. IF the Pats' offensive line can keep a clean pocket for Brady, (and it looks like they can), I don't think any team can beat them, IMO.

I get it that Bill's unpopular with many. So was George Patton. He's not paid to be popular, he's paid to win.

Tom couldn't run when he was 25 either, so he never tried. That's why he's still playing today. Favre should have retired five years before he did, but he couldn't afford to. Give Manning credit for not trying to milk it. It looks like Brees is still good to go for a couple more. But if you run with the ball you'll end up like RG3. That's what they pay halfbacks for, and why halfbacks have such short careers.

OK, I'll admit it. I am a long suffering Dolphin fan. I don't hate any of the Patriots but I'd like to see some parity in the league and I don't want to see the Pats
in another Superbowl. I think the controversy (kneeling) is faded to history, have not seen it in the playoffs. Check out some of those women curlers, I know
the ones from Norway make me Randy baby.

Success, or the lack of it, starts at the top. Kraft is at least as responsible as Bill and Tom, because he hired them, and then stayed out of their way. Attention Browns fans: want to win some games? You don't need a new QB, or a new coach. You need a new owner.
