Reality check! Some of us are serious suckers for driver buyouts and drivers on sale. We buy drivers with no intended project in the works. So how many drivers do you have sitting on your shelves? Count them. You might be surprised. I was!!!! I shamefully admit that I currently have 73 unused drivers sitting on my shelves.

Ok, so how bad exactly is your driver hoarding?

You got me beat. I have about a dozen DA175 laying around, a quartet of Wavecor WF152BD04, a pair of TB full rangers, a couple of Viawave tweeters. The more speakers I build and the better I get, the less I want to use cheap drivers (about half of my 'inventory') that's why I'm probably going
to sell a bunch of the unused drivers that I have and buy better drivers (oh wait.. I already have 'better' drivers..).
The problem is that my wife is extremely supportive of my hobbies so there is no moderation (good problem to have, I know!).
I am not on a tight budget, so money is not the problem, I just need to better control myself and buy what I WILL use.
OK, I just received a quad of SB15CAC30-8 ceramic woofers and a pair of Eton 7in Orchestra woofers..

I just started adding them up in my head and I'm shocked. At least 50 sitting on the shelves and i'm sure I missed a few. I guess I don't need to buy any more drivers for at least a few years....Co-conspirator in the development of the "CR Gnarly Fidelity Reduction Unit" - Registered Trademark, Patent Pending.

When I was just getting started in speaker building and knew absolutely nothing, a friend convinced me to buy 60 2 inch extended range, 16 5 1/2 mid woofers and 2 tweeters to build a pair of line arrays. Not counting those 78 still boxed up drivers, I only have 26. I bought all but 4 of those with interesting projects in mind.
