I really would like to try this. I can’t do the shapes but the BB sides are great.

It's been a little bit since I've posted, I these should be all finished by the end of the year. I finished up the tweeter mounts. I used 1/8" hardboard t make the cup. I will seal all the seams to make sure it is air tight.

Simple way to know for sure. Get out the tape measure and verify the baffle dimensions, and use a T-square to check for orthogonal corners.

It's easy to screw up stacked ply layers and get them slightly off, one layer at a time.

leave it as is, as long as you have some contact and they are glued and wont rattle

I need some advice. The vertical and horizontal brace didn't come out as planned. There is about a 0.5" x 0.5" gap. I can just glue and clamp the areas that overlap and ignore that space or I can try and use a wood filler or something else. Thoughts?

Those look nice! I am trying to figure out what to seal them with. After the sanding the BB Ply looks really nice. I was thinking either a straight shellac or Danish Oil.

Got a couple hours of sanding in after the cabs were glued up. Took a little bit to get all the burn marks out from the CNC router, but they are looking pretty nice. I plan on keeping them as natural looking as possible. Thinking about a danish oil. I am going for the "Migico Mini" look. Anyone use Danish Oil on Baltic Birch? other recommendations?

Coming together nicely! That looks pretty good for a first run of the crossover, nice job!

I learned from another project that you should regularly clamp when gluing layers together. I did every 3 layers on the R/L and every 2Layers on the CC. Still think I am going to nee to seal inside and out.

Since Pete was making progress on the XO, I figured I better get moving with the cabs. R/L are sealed at 0.3cf and the CC is sealed at 0.6cf. There was some issues with the thickness of the BB ply. ended up going with bbb grade and I am happy I did. No visible voids and it looks nice and uniform. Should be able to glue everything up tomorrow, then it will just be sanding and polyurethane.
