  • Has anybody tried the SB26ADC/CDC in an off-the-shelf waveguide? Augerpro did some great work on customs for them, but I haven't seen anyone posting results in guides like the Visaton or SEOS8, which I'm guessing might need a little mod work to narrow the throat a bit. Their low-end capability looks great even with no waveguide, but some directivity control would be useful.

An Elliptical Pete S designed for my spec. It's 1.5" deep.
      Guess xmax's age.

My guess: 15. His grammar is passable. His trolling is good.

      • I think someone mentioned Toels Gravesen's use of waveguides at some point. This is a link to several tests he did with Scanspeak drivers using his waveguide. http://www.troelsgravesen.dk/ScanSpeak-waveguides.htm

        • RST in unmodified SEOS WG, curves to follow, I imagine
they will be great, like the slightly modded SEOS to accept
          the RST grill.

I am currently investigating using 1.4" "pro sound" WG/horns on 26mm domes.

                • With a .125" thick CNC faceplate the transition should be fine.
                  Perhaps even without it.

Hi Xmax, Do you have a chance to test DA25TX in Visaton Guide?
                    Thanks in advance,
